'Red and Blue'
The 2005 'Red & Blue' series was centred on contrast. The contrast that happens within and around the form, as the naturally occurring soft edges are broken and interrupted by the sharp edges of almost machine finished flat planes within the pieces, giving a contrast between a natural and industrial feel which I think works well.

Contrast can also be seen in the warm coloured jesmonite against the cold matallic surface of the aluminium with the combined finished textured surfaces.
